Today marks the 25th anniversary of the crash of Delta flight 191. The flight was on final to D/FW airport when it got caught in wind shear and slammed into the ground.
135 people were killed in the crash.
After this crash, airports and airplanes started to have wind shear detectors installed in them to prevent this type of accident from happening again.
