Aero Union Cargo Jet Crashes In Monterrey, Mexico

Six people are reported dead (5 crew members and 1 person on the ground) after the Airbus A300 Cargo plane pictured here crashed in Monterrey, Mexico. The plane crashed on the freeway adjacent to the airport after an aborted approach.

Apparently, the weather was bad and the plane was en route between Mexico City and LAX. Aerounion, is a cargo airline that operates mostly in Mexico, but it also operates flights to LAX and Chicago.

The cause of the crash has not been determined but there was heavy rain and fog at the time of the accident.

    5 crew members….. i thought you only needed three max.

      The reports are conflicting, there’s one that says there are 7 dead, 3 onboard and 4 on the ground. I think in the next day or so the reports will settle down.
