Airbus A380 Landing at JFK

Published on December 17, 2009, by in Commercial.

I really enjoy watching planes land and take off. This is video that I found from the first time that an Airbus A380 landed at JFK. It’s an Airfrance bird that came in from Charles DeGaulle airport and landed at JFK in New York.

I see something big like that landing and it makes me want to kick up my training. I wonder how many hours you have to have to qualify to fly something like that? I know you have to have the ATP, but how many total hours do you need?

The coolest thing about this video, is that it sounds like it’s a woman flying the plane, how cool is that?
