This is a picture from the first flight of the Airbus A400M military transport plane. The plane is several years late, over budget and several customers have cancelled their orders due to the delays.

Sound familiar?

From what I understand, the Airbus A400M is targeted at countries that want to upgrade their aging fleet of C-130 Hercules but can’t necessarily afford C-17 Globemaster jets. I could be wrong about that though.
