Racing was cancelled on the second day of the races, so they went by the fastest qualifiers on Saturday to determine the winners of the event. Dadgum torrential rains kept the racing planes grounded on Sunday. Our friend Bernanrdo, aka Air Show Fan was in Rio and took some awesome pictures of the planes.

The final standings were: Hannes Arch of Austria was first, followed by Nigel Lamb of Britain and Paul Bonhomme also a Brit and who still leads the overall championship came in third.
