This is what the picture for the facebook group depicts. It’s the Blue Angel’s support plane, a C-130 named “Fat Albert” taking off using rockets to assist it getting off the ground.
Amazing how fast the thing climbs.

This is what I remember most about the Blue Angels show I saw in Brunswick back in ‘98. When I saw it they did the rocket climb while they were already flying instead of at take-off (take-off looks more impressive), and I don’t think they painted the C-130 back then.
