This is some awesome video of a Mitsubishi Mu-2 taking off from Haiti. From what I understand, the plane was landing and taking off on a daily basis for 6 days delivering humanitarian aid to Hait after the massive earthquake there earlier this year. If you pay attention to the video, you’ll see people walking across the runway just after the plane gets off the ground.

From what I understand, the Mu-2 is a tricky plane to fly. Apparently, it’ll just as well kill you as it will keep you alive and let you fly another day. I’ve never had the pleasure of meeting one of these planes in person, I’m just letting you know of their reputation.
