Pilot Dies During Air Show Exhibit

A star Brazilian stunt pilot and member of the “Esquadrilha da Fumaça” which is the Brazilian AIr Force equivalent of the Thunderbirds died after crashing his plane during an exhibit on April 2, 2010.

The team was performing in Lages, Santa Catarina, Brasil, and the N°7 plane is the plane that crashed. The pilot, named Anderson Amaro, was a very decorated member of the Brazilian Air Force.
