This picture, is of a fairly new Embraer 190. It was enroute from Cali Colombia to Santa Marta when it skidded off the end of the runway onto the beach. There was heavy rain at the time of the accident, and apparently the plane just couldn’t stop and hydroplaned over the end and onto the beach.

That’s a seriously awkward angle for the passengers to get out from, but from I understand there were no serious injuries. It does make for a cool picture though.
